1. Who we are

wearhuman.in is operated by Fenix Commerce Private Limited (GSTIN 09AAACQ4352Q1ZW) (“Wear Human”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the website, place an order or apply as an artist, and how we use and protect it, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Information we collect

When you order: your name, email address, phone number and shipping address, the products you buy, and payment status and reference (not your card or bank details).
When you join the waitlist: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
When you apply as an artist or use the artist studio: your name, email, location, bio, portfolio or social links, sample artwork, the artwork and text you upload, and any payout details you share with us to receive your earnings.
When you contact us: the messages you send and our replies.
Technical information: basic data that every website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use it

To process, print, ship and support your order, including order confirmations and status updates by email, phone or WhatsApp.
To handle payments, cancellations, replacements and refunds.
To review artist applications, run the artist studio and pay artists their share of sales.
To tell you when the store launches or a new drop arrives, if you joined the waitlist. You can ask us to stop at any time.
To keep the website secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share only what each partner needs to do their job:

Printing and production partners, to make your order.
Courier and logistics partners: your name, address and phone number, to deliver it.
Payment gateways and banks, to process your payment.
Service providers who run parts of the website for us, such as web hosting and email delivery.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

Artists see how many of their tees sell. They do not receive your name, contact details or address.

5. Payments

Payments are handled by our payment gateway partners over secure, encrypted connections, under their own privacy policies and security standards. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to them; we never see or store them. We keep only the payment status and transaction reference for your order.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one keeps you signed in and remembers your bag while you shop. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Blocking cookies in your browser may stop the bag and checkout from working.

7. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is no longer needed. Artist application details are kept while the application or artist account is active. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

The website uses HTTPS encryption. Passwords are stored in hashed form, never in plain text, and access to personal information is limited to the people who need it to run Wear Human. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will act promptly if something goes wrong.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you,
correct or update it,
delete it, where we are not required to keep it by law, or
stop sending you marketing emails, and withdraw consent you have given.

10. Children

The website is not meant for children under 18. They may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect information from children without that consent.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with its “last updated” date.
